Dear friends!

A hearty welcome and hello from my barn in Georgia and Pudge’s barn in Manheim! Me and the BFF’s are enjoying things in the South – little warmer than Pudge’s place in the north! Brrr… Pudge is holding up pretty well and Buttons keeps them all in hot cocoa so I suppose all is well.

Speaking of things being well… how about those races this past weekend?? Did you see some talent, some upsets, some surprises and not so surprising moves? I bet you’ll say yes to at least one or two!!

This week we had two Kentucky Oaks Prep races! Woo Hoo for the fillies! Take Charge Brandi took the win by just a bit in the Martha Washington and Callback went gate to wire in the Grade 1 Las Virgenes! Two talented fillies for you to look forward to seeing as they make their way closer to the Kentucky Oaks in May. It’s possible that Take Charge Brandi may appear next in the Honeybee at OakLawn Park and Callback is probable for the Santa Anita Oaks.
